A Gambian legacy

Ayo Palmer is a Gambian paediatrician and researcher whose work has addressed child health and the organisation of health research. Associated with CIAM Public Health Research and Development Centre, she has co-authored studies on malaria and national research systems. Her clinical and research contributions place children’s health within wider questions of public-health policy.
